Desired features:
1) An alias that actually works! Mine did not, despite my copy/pasting into a test message.
2) An alternative to the complex random number/letter combinations. How anyone can manage to quickly access such aliases, when needed, (which is not regularly for most folks), I do not know. Where do you conveniently save this stuff?
The idea above, of a toolbar icon from which this alias is automatically accessed, would be great, but I recognise the programing task is not insignificant.

Not that I'm totally impressed, but this is more than I expected when I found a link on SU telling that the info here is quite decent. Thanks.

Is this still working?

Provide the possibility to simply use any address (i.e. [xyz012]@spambox.us) upon
sending an email and a page that displays any return message for a set time period,
possibly a day, or whatever is practical. This was the technique used by several
disposable email websites in past and it worked quite well for email where no privacy
is either expected or required.

I would like to be able to implement an identical service on my own domain (in case some websites should ever become spambox-aware and disallow your domain).

Any chance the source code could be published, or maybe just sent my way?

hey,
if you can't do custom addresses, i think a cool feature would be a toolbar icon which copies your email address when you click it. then, you can just paste in the email address when needed. kinda like that feature that photobucket has.
